Full Stack Engineer Frontend focused
About Adagy Robotics
Adagy Robotics provides human-in-the-loop labor for robotics companies. When a robot fails (for example it gets stuck, lost, or misses a grasp) it can make a call to Adagy’s system via our API, and a trained operator will teleoperate that robot through the failure using our AI-enabled teleoperation system, then resume autonomous operations. This helps robotics companies deploy and scale robots faster than they otherwise could. We use sophisticated ML techniques to suggest responses to our operators based on their past actions.
Adagy was founded by Ros Shinkle, who was a staff roboticist on the Spot manipulation team at Boston Dynamics, and Kathleen Brandes, who was a senior ML engineer on Tesla’s Optimus robot. The team has degrees from MIT and Penn and a combined 10 years of industry experience.
Adagy is backed by Y Combinator and we just closed a (undisclosed) seed round. We’re growing aggressively and hiring because we need more hands on deck.
Adagy provides health, dental and vision insurance.
Adagy is an early stage startup – if you join, expect a lot of hard work, fast growth, and a ton of fun with robots.

Choose new frameworks and set software standards within the company to create a performant and clean website
Work closely with the robot operators to create usable and intuitive interfaces that enable them to resolve errors quickly
Play a critical role in shaping the team culture and software direction as an early hire
Help grow the team
