We’re in search of a highly motivated frontend graphics software engineer with rich proven experience to lead the effort of developing web based 3d visualization tools!
What you will be doing:
Build web based, 3D visualization software for our internal maps using open sourced visualization frameworks
Writing modularized, easily testable software to process and visualize large amounts of data efficiently in a resource constrained environment.
Understand risks and opportunities in this work and communicate them across the team during weekly sprint plannings.
What we need to see:
Completed a BS/MS degree program in Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Robotics, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of equivalent practical experience.
Thorough understanding of JavaScript and JS frameworks, such as React.js, Angular.js, and/or Node.js
Past project or class experience with 3D Graphics, OpenGL/WebGL, WebAssembly, WebGPU, Three.js, Deck.gl, Cesium, etc.
Familiar with software development cycle including git, code reviews
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in mapping technologies (GPS, GIS, OSM, etc.) is a plus.
Proficiency in geometry and math (mainly linear algebra) is a plus.
The base salary range is 144,000 USD - 270,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
