NOTE: YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN HIGHER EDUCATION DURING THE ENTIRE INTERNSHIP TO BE CONSIDERED.
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our EMEA Service Engineering team. You will design and develop innovative software and diagnostic user interfaces to improve the insights of service technicians into the health of serviced vehicles. Your code will have a lot of impact and travel within all Tesla vehicles worldwide!
The ideal candidate for this role possesses very strong coding skills (focus on front-end but ability to dive into back-end topics as well), likes to tinker and experiment with personal projects (please highlight those in your CV), and is comfortable navigating complex interconnected systems.
What You'll Do
Design, code and debug diagnostic user interfaces, as well as the logic behind it
Work together with a cross-functional team of hardware and software engineers
Tinker and work proactively to improve systems and tools used by the team
What You'll Bring
Level C1 in English (spoken and written)
Expertise in user experience (UX) and human-machine interface (HMI) design
Good software engineering skills and experience with React & Rust
Experience with embedded systems, robotics and/or automotive
Nice to have:
Familiarity with C/C++
Comfortable with Linux / Unix systems
Familiarity with unit testing and integration tests
Some experience with JavaScript 3D libraries (ie. three.js) / game engines
