Role Description and responsibilities

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Web Application Developer at 3D-Side. The Web Application Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications. In collaboration with the mathematical developer, he will implement functions in a web page using javascript. The successful candidate will be expected to work from the Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium office with 60% remote work.

• Develop, test and document features which have an impact on people’s life

• integrate back-end mathematical functions, 3D visualization, algorithms behind buttons in web pages

• understanding the needs of biomedical engineers to make sure it fits their expectations

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional front end code

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• Strong skills in Web Application Development

• 3+ years' experience in javascript development (VueJS is a bonus)

• Any experience with 3D/algorithm is an asset (VTK or three.js)

• Proficiency in Software Development

• Experience building object oriented web applications in JavaScript, PHP, HTML5.

• Experience in the Medical Device industry is a plus

• Experience with Agile methodology and Test Driven Development is a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
